About the role

We are looking for a motivated Recruitment Consultant to join our legal recruitment team in Newcastle upon Tyne. The role is hybrid, offering a competitive base salary plus an uncapped commission structure, and provides a clear pathway to become a top‑performing consultant.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and source legal talent through job boards, social media and professional networks.
• Conduct interviews and assessments to match candidates’ skills and aspirations with client needs.
• Build and maintain relationships with law firms, corporate legal departments and candidates.
• Provide career guidance and advice to candidates navigating the legal job market.
• Collaborate with clients to understand hiring requirements and organisational culture.
• Stay informed on legal industry trends, market conditions and regulatory developments.

Required profile

• Previous experience in legal recruitment or a professional services environment.
• Willingness to learn about various legal practice areas.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding recruitment targets.
• Passion for building long‑term professional relationships.
