Recruitment Consultant – Property & Construction (Social Housing)

About the role

Reed is seeking an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join its Property & Construction team in Bristol. You will focus on the growing social housing market across the South West, building a specialist desk and matching talented professionals with rewarding opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with clients in the social housing sector.
• Generate new business and expand existing accounts.
• Take job briefs, source and headhunt high‑quality candidates.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle from vacancy to placement.
• Conduct compliance checks, including right‑to‑work and references.
• Deliver an excellent experience for both clients and candidates.

Required profile

• Previous agency recruitment experience, preferably within Property & Construction or a related field.
• Strong business development and relationship‑building abilities.
• Confident communicator who enjoys working with people.
• Driven, resilient and motivated to succeed in a fast‑paced environment.
• Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
