Recruitment Consultant – Public Sector HR

About the role

Join Hays' dedicated Public Sector HR team in Bristol as a Recruitment Consultant. You will own a specialist desk, develop deep client relationships and place high‑calibre HR professionals across the South West public sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a specialist Public Sector HR recruitment desk.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing public sector clients, including local authorities, NHS organisations and education providers.
• Source, engage and place senior HR talent across a range of specialisms.
• Deliver interim recruitment solutions and drive business development to expand market share.
• Provide consultative recruitment expertise to both clients and candidates.

• Strong relationship‑building skills with a focus on client and candidate experience.
