Recruitment Principal / Lead – Oil & Gas Technical Markets

About the role

Performance Energy is seeking a senior Recruitment Principal / Lead to own and grow its Oil & Gas Technical Markets business in the UK. You will be responsible for building a high‑performing client portfolio, generating profitable opportunities and delivering gross‑profit targets across a specialist technical sector.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new client relationships through outbound development, networking and market intelligence.
• Expand existing accounts by uncovering additional hiring needs and increasing spend.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from vacancy briefing to placement, ensuring high‑quality candidate submissions.
• Maintain an active commercial pipeline using the PE Hub and CRM, converting leads into revenue.
• Collaborate closely with Delivery, Marketing and Sales Activation teams to maximise placements and contractor extensions.
• Provide timely communication and accurate same‑day record keeping for all recruitment activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior‑level recruitment within the energy or oil & gas sector.
• Demonstrated ability to meet individual gross‑profit and pipeline targets.
• Strong commercial acumen and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and comfortable creating a market from scratch.
