Regional Account Manager - London, Herts & Beds

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Regional Account Manager to lead business development across London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Cambridgeshire. You will own the end‑to‑end lending process, build strong broker relationships and drive new bridging finance opportunities for West One Loans.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and develop new lending opportunities within the assigned region.
• Originate, manage and nurture relationships with mortgage intermediaries, professional introducers and direct borrowers.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline and meet or exceed agreed targets for bridging finance deals.
• Collaborate with the Head of Sales and internal team, managing your own diary with a focus on face‑to‑face appointments.
• Respond to new business enquiries via phone and email, recording activity in the CRM system.
• Develop deep product knowledge and train intermediary partners on our broker portal.
• Ensure compliance with West One Loans, TCF and Responsible Lending policies.
• Attend industry roadshows, events and occasional visits to the Watford head office.
• Monitor competitor offerings and market conditions to inform product development.

Required profile

• Proven track record of meeting sales targets within set timescales.
• Strong sales, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to persuade, handle objections and close deals.
• Understanding of Treating Customers Fairly, Money Laundering, Data Protection, FCA & PRA regulations.
• Experience in bridging finance or specialist finance markets is desirable.
