Registered Manager – Children’s Home (North West London)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Ofsted Registered Manager to lead an established solo children’s residential home in North West London. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality, child‑centred care to a young person with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain Ofsted registration and ensure full compliance with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
• Provide day‑to‑day operational leadership and manage the residential care team.
• Promote a therapeutic, trauma‑informed approach and embed robust safeguarding practices.
• Oversee care planning, risk assessments, behaviour support strategies and placement stability.
• Monitor quality assurance, conduct audits and drive continuous improvement toward a ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rating.
• Manage staffing, budgets and resources effectively.
• Develop strong relationships with local authorities, social workers, education providers, healthcare professionals and families.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an Ofsted Registered Manager in a children’s residential setting.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent Ofsted‑recognised qualification).
• In‑depth knowledge of the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
• Passion for improving outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.
