Registered Nurse – Adult Community Mental Health

About the role

The NHS Lanarkshire team is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Adult Community Mental Health service. You will work with adults experiencing mental health disorders, substance misuse, learning disabilities, or co‑morbid conditions, delivering person‑centred care across North and South Lanarkshire.

Key responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process framework to assess, plan, and deliver high‑quality care under clinical supervision.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, involving patients and carers in risk assessment and care planning.
• Provide escort and intervention for patients as directed by senior nursing staff.
• Appraise and supervise nursing students and healthcare support workers within the service.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
• Full UK/EU/EEA driving licence.
• Strong team‑working, initiative, and communication skills.
