About the role
Veritas Education is partnering with an outstanding secondary school in Lytham to recruit a dedicated Religious Education (RE) Teacher for the full academic year starting September 2026. This full‑time position involves teaching Key Stages 3 and 4 within a supportive Humanities department.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging RE lessons for KS3 and KS4 students.
- Assess, monitor and support pupil progress.
- Contribute positively to the wider school community.
- Collaborate with experienced department colleagues.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching RE in a secondary setting.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
Required skills
- Curriculum planning for Religious Education.
- Student assessment and progress tracking.
