Residential Surveyor – Remote & Kingston

About the role

We are seeking a RICS‑qualified Residential Surveyor to join a respected surveying practice based in Kingston. The role offers a blend of remote working and occasional site visits, allowing you to deliver high‑quality surveys and valuations while supporting your professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct RICS Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 property surveys.
• Undertake residential valuations, including private client assignments.
• Perform HomeBuyer Reports and, where required, Building Surveys (training provided if needed).
• Carry out residential and occasional commercial property inspections.
• Provide expert advice to clients in line with RICS standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and documentation.
• Contribute to service‑delivery improvements and nurture strong client relationships.

Required profile

• AssocRICS or MRICS qualification, VRS registration preferred.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Degree in Surveying or a related discipline.
• Membership of, or working towards, RICS.
• Strong technical knowledge of property construction, building defects and surveying practice.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Residential property valuation methods.
• Preparation of HomeBuyer Reports.
• Building Survey methodology.
• Knowledge of property construction and defect identification.
