Retail Showroom Sales Advisor – Lewes Road

About the role

We are opening a brand‑new Brewers Decorator Centre on Lewes Road and are looking for a friendly, reliable Retail Showroom Sales Advisor to join our team. You will provide exceptional in‑store service, inspire customers with our extensive range of paints, wallpapers and furnishings, and help grow the business in the South East.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service, answering enquiries and offering design ideas.
• Use product knowledge to recommend the right paint, wallpaper or fabric for each customer.
• Drive sales of the company’s product range, including bespoke items.
• Assist with visual merchandising and stock displays to highlight trends.
• Prepare quotations, mix paints, process specialist orders and request special stock.
• Maintain stock levels, unload deliveries and ensure products are correctly distributed throughout the store.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Enthusiasm for interior design and home décor.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into product recommendations.
• Reliability, teamwork mindset and willingness to support store operations.

Required skills

• Product knowledge of paint, wallpaper and fabric ranges.
• Experience mixing paint and handling bespoke orders.
