Runner – Central London

About the role

The Runner at Soho House supports the seamless flow of service between the kitchen, bar and the dining floor, ensuring members receive a superior experience in a high‑end London venue.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver food and drink orders promptly from kitchen/bar to members' tables.
• Maintain a spotless, organised work environment and service stations.
• Provide service to an assigned section and develop personalised relationships with members.
• Polish cutlery, prepare table additions (lemon wraps, condiments, butter portions) and handle opening/closing procedures.
• Carefully store and manage service equipment.
• Attend regular front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house briefings, menu tastings and updates.

Required profile

• 2–3 years experience in a high‑end dining environment.
• Excellent food and beverage knowledge, including wine service.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills.
• Confident, polished and professional demeanour.
• Organisational ability and familiarity with POS and reservation software.
