Sales Manager – French Speaking (UK & Asia)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic French‑speaking Sales Manager to lead the growth of a prestigious Champagne house across the United Kingdom and selected Asian markets. Based in London and reporting to the Commercial Director in Reims, you will act as the brand ambassador, driving commercial strategy and building strong distributor relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the commercial strategy for the UK and assigned Asian markets.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand existing distributor and importer partnerships.
• Support, train and motivate importer sales teams to maximise brand performance.
• Manage key customer relationships and represent the Maison with distributors, trade partners and influencers.
• Promote the brand at trade fairs, tastings, dinners and industry events.
• Analyse sales performance, provide regular commercial reporting and market feedback.
• Collaborate closely with the Commercial Director to achieve ambitious growth objectives.
• Travel regularly within the UK and internationally (approximately six weeks per year).

Required profile

• Fluent in French and English with strong communication skills.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience selling Champagne or premium wines in the UK market (Sales Manager, Territory Manager, Area Sales Manager or similar).
• Deep understanding of the UK wine trade and distributor network.
• Commercially driven with proven business‑development experience.
• Passionate about wine, gastronomy and premium brands.
• Well‑organised, analytical and results‑oriented.
• Master’s degree in Business or equivalent preferred.
• Full right to work in the UK and ability to travel to France and Asia.
