Sales Manager / Valuer – Residential Estate Agency

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established independent estate agency in Bristol to find a Sales Manager / Valuer. You will lead the conversion of market appraisals into new instructions, support the sales team and help drive the branch’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market appraisals and turn valuations into signed instructions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, buyers and applicants.
• Negotiate offers and guide sales through to completion.
• Lead by example, mentoring negotiators and supporting team development.
• Collaborate with senior management to improve branch performance.
• Identify new business opportunities and increase market share.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales journey.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Sales Manager, Valuer or Senior Negotiator in a residential estate agency.
• Proven track record of winning instructions and generating new business.
• Strong valuation, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate colleagues.
• Commercial, proactive and customer‑focused approach.

• Basic salary £30,000‑£35,000 plus realistic uncapped OTE over £50,000.
