Semi Senior Accountant (Stonehouse)

About the role

We are looking for a Semi Senior Accountant to join our Stonehouse office. You will support the accounts team in delivering high‑quality financial statements, tax returns and management accounts for a diverse client portfolio. This role offers a clear path for professional development within a collaborative, forward‑thinking firm.

Key responsibilities

• Represent Xeinadin to clients, ensuring day‑to‑day tasks are completed with excellence and innovation.
• Prepare year‑end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Assist with corporation tax, VAT returns and personal tax computations.
• Prepare and review financial accounts for a portfolio of clients, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Support audit engagements, including fieldwork and coordination with senior team members.
• Collaborate with senior colleagues to meet client deliverables within agreed timelines and budgets.
• Contribute to workflow improvements and team activities.
• Engage in continuous professional development and meet CPD requirements.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified or fully qualified AAT, ACA or ACCA (or actively working towards qualification).
• Previous experience working in an accountancy practice.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and adhere to technical and regulatory standards.
