SEN Teacher – Medway & Surrounding Areas

About the role
We are seeking passionate SEN Teachers to join schools in Medway and surrounding areas of Kent. These long‑term positions focus on delivering tailored education for pupils with autism, SEMH challenges and complex learning needs.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons for SEN pupils.
- Create a safe, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists and multidisciplinary staff.
- Assess progress regularly and adapt strategies to support academic and personal growth.
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers and external professionals.
- Uphold safeguarding and SEN policies at all times.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching primary‑aged children with SEN, especially ASD, SEMH or complex needs.
- Strong knowledge of appropriate strategies and interventions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and classroom management skills.
- Enhanced Child‑only DBS (or willingness to obtain one) and full legal right to work in the UK.
