About the role
We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide one‑to‑one support for a student aged 11‑16 with special educational needs. The role is based in Hounslow and runs from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, offering a supportive environment across schools, community centres and the child's home.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver individualized 1:1 support to a student with SEN needs.
- Build trust, consistency and positive routines.
- Assist with emotional regulation and behaviour management.
- Encourage engagement in education and personal development.
- Act as a positive role model and mentor.
Required profile
- Patient, resilient and proactive.
- Passionate about supporting young people.
- Comfortable working as a behaviour mentor across varied settings.
- Committed to long‑term impact and development.
