Senior Accountant – £45,000‑£50,000, Hybrid, Eastleigh

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors, acting as the main point of contact.
• Prepare statutory accounts and finalise accounts under line‑manager supervision.
• Prepare corporation tax computations.
• Supervise and review the work of junior team members, providing training and support.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and add value for clients.
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical knowledge and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Participate in pricing, new client quotes and ongoing professional development.

Required profile

• ACCA or ACA qualified, or close to qualification.
• Solid UK accountancy practice experience, ideally with a varied client portfolio.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Sharp attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Positive, proactive attitude and ambition to progress.
• Team player who can also work independently.
