Senior Analyst – Investment Operations (London)

About the role

You will join an established settlements team responsible for cash equity and fixed‑income products. The role focuses on managing relationships with prime brokers, custodians and executing brokers to minimise risk for Man Group’s investment managers.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main CSDR contact for AHL and GLG, coordinating with Boston colleagues for fund manager NUMERIC.
• Collect and present CSDR management information statistics to senior management.
• Monitor prematching and failing trades, investigating and clearing nostro breaks in securities transactions.
• Improve straight‑through processing (STP) rates with custodians and prime brokers.
• Handle trade amendments, event processing and reference‑data maintenance to ensure accurate P&L, positions and risk exposures.
• Act as the central point of contact for all prime broker and custodian relationships.
• Represent the Equity & Bond Settlement team across the firm and support continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in investment operations, settlements or related finance functions.
• Strong knowledge of CSDR regulations and prime‑broker/custodian processes.
• Proven ability to analyse trade data, resolve mismatches and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on risk reduction and operational efficiency.
