Senior Architect – Workplace & Commercial Lead (Bristol)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Architect to lead our Workplace and Commercial sector in Bristol. The role involves taking ownership of design delivery from Stage 2 through to completion on large‑scale, campus‑based schemes, working in a hybrid model from our Bristol studio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design development from Stage 2 through to project completion.
• Deliver compliant, coordinated and sustainable design solutions.
• Navigate UK Building Regulations, statutory processes and technical standards.
• Lead planning and building‑regulation submissions.
• Engage with clients, consultants, contractors and statutory authorities.
• Support risk management and design compliance processes.
• Contribute to sector growth and new project opportunities.

Required profile

• Strong UK experience in workplace/commercial architecture.
• Proven ability to deliver complex projects through all design stages.
• Deep knowledge of Building Regulations and statutory processes.
• Comfortable leading meetings and coordinating project teams.
• Ambition to step into senior or associate‑level responsibility.
