Senior Business Analyst

About the role

M&G is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to drive change across the organisation. You will sit at the centre of multiple projects, shaping analysis activities and ensuring delivery is efficient, well‑governed and aligned with strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Define analytical approaches and lead other Business Analysts on a portfolio of change initiatives.
• Identify risks, issues, dependencies and gaps early, communicating and resolving them proactively.
• Analyse existing products, services and processes to uncover optimisation opportunities.
• Translate business strategy into robust solution designs using quantitative and qualitative data.
• Present clear options and recommendations to stakeholders, facilitating confident decision‑making.
• Provide assurance across a wider portfolio of change, monitoring progress and outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst at a senior level, preferably within financial services.
• Ability to self‑manage, prioritise work and lead others without close supervision.
• Strong communication skills to articulate complex problems and solutions to diverse audiences.
• Experience in risk identification, issue resolution and stakeholder management.

Required skills

• Business analysis techniques such as gap analysis and process mapping.
• Data‑driven decision making using both quantitative and qualitative insights.
• Ability to design and govern solution architectures.
