Senior Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Financial Controller to join a leading music‑industry finance team in London. Working closely with the CFO, Finance Director and other senior leaders, you will own the monthly reporting cycle, statutory accounts, audit and financial control while driving finance transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes and produce management accounts and Board packs.
• Own statutory accounts, regulatory reporting and external audit coordination.
• Maintain balance‑sheet governance, reconciliations and working‑capital management.
• Ensure compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS and internal financial controls.
• Drive continuous improvement of finance processes and systems.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across Distribution, Transformation, People, Projects and Change.
• Develop and lead a high‑performing finance team and deputise for the Finance Director when required.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in senior controllership.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence senior leadership.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
