Senior Integration Engineer – Aerospace (Oxford)

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing developer of compact micro‑turbine engines, is seeking a Senior Integration Engineer to act as the technical authority on engine integration. Reporting to the Head of Testing, you will bridge design, manufacturing and customer sites, ensuring every installation is delivered flawlessly.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and maintain integration documentation – ICDs, installation manuals, commissioning procedures and operational handbooks – under strict configuration control.
• Plan and execute end‑to‑end integration, commissioning and test campaigns at internal facilities and customer locations.
• Manage health, safety and quality compliance on all sites.
• Maintain customer relationships throughout the integration lifecycle, providing technical guidance and capturing feedback.
• Collaborate closely with design, manufacturing and production teams to embed integration requirements early.
• Help shape the division’s integration processes, tooling and team structure as the business scales.

Required profile

• Proven experience integrating complex hardware in propulsion, aerospace, defence, automotive powertrain or similar high‑performance environments.
• Strong technical authorship skills for ICDs, installation and commissioning procedures, test plans and manuals.
• Demonstrated ability to lead integration or test campaigns on‑site.
• Excellent stakeholder communication from operators to senior leadership.
• Deep familiarity with configuration control, requirements management and regulated quality/safety environments.
• Hands‑on, solutions‑first mindset.
