Senior Manager – US/UK Expatriate Tax

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead our US/UK expatriate tax team. You will work with a high‑quality portfolio of globally mobile individuals, senior executives and high‑net‑worth clients, helping them navigate complex cross‑border tax issues.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and review a portfolio of US and UK expatriate clients across compliance and advisory work.
• Prepare and review complex tax returns, including US Forms 1040/1040NR, FBAR and UK Self‑Assessment.
• Provide tailored cross‑border tax advice on residency, mobility and planning.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing team.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted adviser.
• Contribute to business development and practice growth.

Required profile

• Enrolled Agent (EA) and ATT qualified – essential.
• Strong experience in US/UK expatriate tax within a professional services firm.
• Excellent technical knowledge of both US and UK personal tax.
• Proven experience reviewing work and leading teams.
• Commercially minded with strong client‑facing skills.
