Senior Professional Indemnity Account Handler

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Professional Indemnity Account Handler to join our London office on a hybrid basis. The role focuses on UK retail construction PI insurance, managing both new business and renewals for SME and mid‑market clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage new business opportunities and renewal cycles.
• Broker placements with Lloyd’s underwriters and composite insurers.
• Administer schemes and binders, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Attend client meetings and support the claims team with claim handling.
• Assist in acquiring new clients and provide guidance to junior team members.

Required profile

• Proven experience in professional indemnity account handling or broking.
• Knowledge of design‑and‑construct insurance for construction clients.
• Experience working with SME and mid‑market accounts.
• CII certification (or equivalent).
• Familiarity with preparing MRC slips.
