Senior Recruitment Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our fast‑growing business in the construction and built environment sector. The role offers autonomy, equity participation and the chance to shape the future of the company as a key No.2 leader.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain your own client base within construction/built environment.
• Generate consistent billings, targeting at least £200k per year.
• Build and sustain a pipeline of vacancies and fees across permanent, temporary or dual‑desk recruitment.
• Support the growth and development of new hires and future team members.
• Contribute to the strategic growth and direction of the business.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in construction or built‑environment recruitment.
• Proven billing record exceeding £200k per year for the past 2‑3 years.
• Strong existing client network in a construction‑related discipline (consultancy, M&E, main contracting, etc.).
• Self‑starter able to work independently without constant supervision.
• Ambitious, commercially focused and not reliant on PSL‑only relationships.
• Based in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire or the outskirts of North‑West London.

Required skills

• Experience in permanent, temporary or dual‑desk recruitment.
• Knowledge of construction and built‑environment sectors.
