Technical Services Manager – One Millennium Bridge

About the role

The Technical Services Manager will be based at One Millennium Bridge, initially working five days a week to support the client in moving the property from practical completion to full occupation. As the building is fitted out, the role will evolve to cover additional sites across the portfolio while maintaining a strong technical presence on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a dedicated technical resource for One Millennium Bridge, coordinating with the client and internal teams.
• Liaise with the LOB operational team to deliver MEP‑focused ESG initiatives and building optimisation projects.
• Assess and implement new technologies such as smart‑building solutions and IoT monitoring to support carbon‑to‑net‑zero goals.
• Lead fit‑out, project and redevelopment instructions, reviewing technical documentation on behalf of managing agents.
• Manage relationships with MEP/VT supply partners and consultants, offering advice on MAPP‑instructed projects.
• Guide responsible persons on compliance documentation and ensure audits meet ACOP, ISO and British standards.
• Provide ad‑hoc technical support across the wider portfolio to ensure MEP compliance audits are completed.
• Contribute to the Facilities Management, Building Consultancy and Sustainability service offering.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and proactively, including out‑of‑hours support for maintenance and emergencies.
• Experience engaging with facilities‑management, building‑consultancy and sustainability teams.
• Strong organisational skills for managing technical site inspections, audits and contractor documentation.
