Senior Systems Engineer – Mechatronics (Oxford)

About the role

Our client designs complex instrumentation for sub‑micron component analysis and is expanding rapidly. They are looking for an experienced Mechatronics or Robotics Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team in Oxfordshire and tackle challenging physics and engineering problems.

Key responsibilities

• Define high‑level motion systems for precision equipment.
• Develop and improve various wafer chuck designs.
• Design handling solutions for different wafer substrates.
• Create advanced wafer navigation methods down to sub‑micron levels.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mechatronics or robotics engineering.
• Strong problem‑solving ability in a systems‑engineering environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple engineering disciplines.
