Senior Utilities Consultant (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Utilities Consultant to join our Bristol team, working on sustainable utilities and energy projects. The role combines strategic development, technical analysis and client leadership in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver utilities and energy strategies from concept through post‑planning.
• Advise on renewables, energy storage and smart energy systems.
• Perform load calculations, assess network capacities and identify development opportunities.
• Liaise with stakeholders to plan connections, upgrades and sustainable solutions.
• Lead projects, manage client relationships and mentor junior team members.
• Contribute to business development and innovation initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in utilities, MEP, infrastructure or built‑environment consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of utilities infrastructure and sustainability principles.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven track record of managing projects and clients at a senior level.
• Leadership and mentorship capabilities.
