Senior Vice President, Product Management – UK & Europe Domestic Payments

About the role

Citi is seeking a senior leader to head its UK and Europe Domestic Payments product portfolio. Reporting into the Payments Services business, you will act as the "CEO" of the product line, shaping strategy, driving growth and ensuring compliance across a complex regulatory landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic vision and long‑term roadmap for key payment solutions across the UK and Europe.
• Take full P&L ownership, identifying market shifts and commercialising winning client solutions.
• Lead the assessment, definition and compliant implementation of critical regulatory mandates.
• Provide architectural oversight, evolving the payments application architecture to support future needs.
• Orchestrate a large network of internal and external partners to deliver market‑leading solutions.
• Drive aggressive commercial growth while maintaining robust risk and control frameworks.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in payments product management within a global financial institution.
• Proven track record of P&L responsibility and delivering profitable growth.
• Strategic thinker capable of acting as the product "CEO" and influencing cross‑functional teams.
• Deep understanding of the regulatory environment governing payments in the UK and Europe.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
