Service Advisor – Automotive Dealership (Salisbury)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, customer‑focused Service Advisor to join a busy automotive dealership in Salisbury. You will act as the primary liaison between customers and the workshop, ensuring a smooth after‑sales experience from booking to vehicle collection.

Key responsibilities

• Book vehicles for servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Provide customers with regular updates throughout the repair process.
• Prepare estimates and obtain approval for any additional work.
• Liaise closely with technicians and workshop control to coordinate work.
• Manage job cards, invoices and all service documentation.
• Promote relevant products and services where appropriate.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high satisfaction levels.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor in the motor trade.
• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Organised and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Confident using dealership management systems.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
