SHEQ Manager – Construction Logistics (London)

About the role

The SHEQ Manager – Construction Logistics will lead health, safety, environment and quality initiatives across multiple construction logistics projects in London. Reporting to the SHEQ Director, you will ensure compliance with legislation while fostering a proactive safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain strong relationships with site managers across London.
• Implement the company‑wide Health & Safety strategy in collaboration with the SHEQ Director.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage risk, conduct incident investigations and promote safe working practices.
• Deliver training and engagement programmes for employees, clients and subcontractors.
• Mentor a SHEQ apprentice and support site inspections.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a SHEQ or Health & Safety Manager within the construction industry.
• Background with a construction contractor or service provider; logistics experience is a plus.
• NEBOSH qualification (ideally diploma).
• Demonstrated ability to conduct audits and incident investigations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all organisational levels.
