Site Supervisor – Repairs & Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead a team of trade operatives delivering responsive repairs and maintenance across the East Midlands. The role requires strong multi‑trade knowledge, excellent organisational abilities, and a proven track record supervising teams in social housing or property maintenance environments.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise operatives and subcontractors delivering repairs and maintenance works.
• Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.
• Monitor productivity, quality and overall team performance.
• Carry out site inspections, toolbox talks and ensure HSE compliance.
• Liaise with planners, office teams and residents to maintain smooth delivery.
• Support apprentices and help develop team capability.
• Promote high standards and a strong health & safety culture throughout.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Site Supervisor, Repairs Supervisor or Senior Operative.
• Strong multi‑trade knowledge within repairs and maintenance.
• Understanding of health & safety, RAMS and compliance procedures.
• Experience managing teams and driving performance.
• Good IT and communication skills.

Required skills

• CSCS card.
• SSSTS certification (preferred).
• SMSTS certification (preferred).
• IOSH certification (preferred).
• Full UK driving licence.
