Specialist Hygiene Service Technician – Haydock

About the role

Rentokil is looking for a Specialist Hygiene Service Technician to join its Haydock branch, covering Liverpool, Chester, Wirral and surrounding areas. You will deliver a wide range of hygiene cleaning services to commercial and industrial premises, tackling everything from bio‑hazard incidents to high‑level factory cleans.

Key responsibilities

• Provide reactive cleaning services such as bio‑hazard, flood water damage, infection control, police and prison cell cleaning, sharps removal, trauma and crime‑scene cleaning.
• Perform technical cleaning tasks including factory, high‑level, silo and confined‑space cleaning, with full training supplied.
• Work as part of an on‑call rota, adapting to changing weekly priorities.
• Offer professional advice to customers and maintain a high standard of customer service.
• Uphold a professional image and adhere to health, safety and confidentiality requirements.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years with no more than six penalty points.
• Self‑motivated, reliable and proactive with excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility to work varied patterns and support business needs.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check where required.
