Static Maintenance Electrician – Temporary Full‑Time

About the role

We are seeking a Static Maintenance Electrician to join a leading facilities management client on a temporary full‑time basis in Durham. You will work Monday‑Friday, 8.30 am to 4.30 pm, delivering reliable electrical maintenance across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance of electrical systems, including distribution boards, lighting, machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults promptly to minimise disruption.
• Perform fault‑finding and troubleshooting on site‑wide electrical issues.
• Ensure all work complies with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and other safety standards.
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety policies.

Required profile

• Successful completion of a recognised electrician qualification (NVQ Level 3) or equivalent apprenticeship.
• Current City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
• Ability to obtain or hold a recent DBS check (from 2024 onward).
• Eligibility to live and work in the United Kingdom.
