Static Multi‑Skilled Air Conditioning Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Air Conditioning Engineer to join our Technical Services team on a static site in Portsmouth. The role combines planned preventative maintenance with reactive support across a range of commercial and industrial HVAC systems.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with contracts and statutory requirements.
• Respond promptly to reactive breakdowns and perform fault diagnosis.
• Execute repairs and replacements on air‑conditioning and HVAC equipment.
• Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports and asset updates.
• Liaise with site management to minimise disruption during maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Recognised Air Conditioning/HVAC qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent).
• Valid F‑Gas certification.
• Proven experience in both PPM and reactive maintenance within commercial or industrial environments.
• Good knowledge of health & safety compliance.
• Full UK driving licence.
