Store Colleague – Morrisons Daily, Chelmsford

About the role

Morrisons is recruiting a Store Colleague for its Morrisons Daily store on Watchouse Road in Chelmsford. The role is permanent, 30 hours per week, with a closing date of 2 November 2026. It involves regular lone working, so candidates must be comfortable and confident working alone in the store for periods of time.

Key responsibilities

• Cover a range of store tasks after training, including till and cash operation (Post Office as required, subject to DBS)
• Stock control and merchandising
• Prepare Food to Go as required
• Ensure the store operates safely and legally
• Cover the supervisor role in the store (with additional pay for hours covered)
• Regular lone working

Required profile

• Loves going above and beyond for customers
• Flexible approach to working hours, including early mornings and some late nights
• Enjoys a fast-paced, varied environment
• Confident working independently
• Over 18 years old, as the store sells alcohol
