Store Colleague – Retail Sales Assistant

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Store Colleague to join our JD Group retail team. In this customer‑facing role you will help deliver an exceptional shopping experience and support the store’s commercial objectives. The position offers clear pathways for career progression within a leading global sports and outdoor retailer.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, ensuring a warm and helpful shopping experience.
• Drive sales by promoting the full product range, upselling and cross‑selling where appropriate.
• Maintain high visual and merchandising standards, keeping the shop floor clean, well‑stocked and aligned with brand guidelines.
• Process sales transactions accurately, including cash and card payments.
• Monitor and replenish stock levels on the shop floor.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to achieve store targets and KPIs such as sales, conversion and Net Promoter Score.
• Adhere to health, safety and company policies while representing the brand professionally.
