Strategy Analyst – Global Equity Derivatives

About the role

Join JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a Strategy Analyst/Associate within the Global Equity Derivatives Group. You will work on the Efficiency Strategy team, helping to shape and deliver process and system improvements that support trading and portfolio management operations.

Key responsibilities

• Document current-state processes, ownership, decision points and key controls.
• Analyse process performance and operational issues to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Design governance routines, agendas, actions and follow‑ups to drive decisions and accountability.
• Coordinate issue management, track actions, clarify escalation paths and support timely resolution.
• Improve risk and control transparency by maintaining control inventories and monitoring evidence quality.
• Support audit readiness through evidence organisation and documentation maintenance.
• Help define operating model design, including roles, handoffs and measurable outcomes.
• Assist change delivery with impact assessments, rollout plans, communications and adoption tracking.
• Partner with Finance, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Legal and Collateral teams to align end‑to‑end requirements.
• Identify candidates for simplification and automation, define requirements and coordinate testing.

Required profile

• Knowledge of derivatives and hedging products or equivalent trading‑services expertise.
• Demonstrated aptitude in operations, governance, process improvement, controls or change management.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and sound judgement.
