Supply Chain Coordinator – Production Planning & Logistics

About the role

We are seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to join a leading manufacturing organisation in Stalybridge. The role combines production planning, logistics coordination, purchasing support and import/export documentation in a fast‑paced environment. You will work closely with planning, procurement, operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth supply‑chain operations.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand.
• Coordinate daily logistics, transport and shipment tracking.
• Support import/export documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Raise purchase orders and monitor supplier performance.
• Track stock levels and assist with inventory control.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with planning, procurement, warehouse and customer service.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects across the supply chain.

Required profile

• Strong background in supply chain or logistics.
• Essential experience in production planning.
• Experience with transportation, scheduling, customs documentation or purchasing is beneficial.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
