Supply Planner / Operations Procurement

About the role

We are looking for a commercially‑minded supply planner and operations procurement professional to join a fast‑paced team in Reigate. Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will sit at the centre of the supply chain, planning stock, sourcing products globally and ensuring smooth movement from order to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Demand Planner and Operations Director to meet stock and delivery targets.
• Identify, evaluate and source products that meet customer specifications for price, quality and lead time.
• Negotiate favourable terms with suppliers, covering price, payment and delivery schedules.
• Maintain compliance with ethical sourcing and sustainability standards.
• Work with logistics on on‑time delivery, import, customs and quality control.
• Support sales and marketing with pricing data, product insights and tender documentation.
• Manage order processing administration, ensuring accurate documentation and audit trails.
• Research and engage new suppliers to drive continuous improvement in cost, quality and delivery.

Required profile

• Can‑do attitude with a positive approach to problem solving.
• Experience in supply planning, operations or buying, preferably within the food industry.
• Strong determination, negotiation and influencing abilities.
• Excellent time‑management and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of international shipping, duties and delivery processes is beneficial.

Required skills

• Strong IT skills, confident with spreadsheets.
