Supply Teacher Positions in Honiton (Primary)

About the role

Educated Recruitment Limited is seeking qualified primary teachers to provide supply cover in Honiton and surrounding schools. The role offers a variety of short‑term, long‑term and permanent‑like assignments, allowing you to gain experience across different educational settings while enjoying flexible working hours.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver planned cover lessons for primary year groups, including preparation and marking.
• Follow each school’s safeguarding and policy procedures.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure continuity for pupils.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and lesson delivery.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) status (applications from other teaching backgrounds are welcome).
• Current DBS check or subscription to the Update Service (the agency can arrange this).
• Minimum three‑year reference history.
• Reliable, punctual and able to commute to Honiton or work locally.

Required skills

• Up‑to‑date knowledge of the primary national curriculum.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with pupils, staff and parents.
