Talent Acquisition Sourcer, Strategic and Leadership Hiring

About the role

As part of Checkout.com’s global Talent Acquisition team, you will own the day‑to‑day delivery of confidential, business‑critical executive searches for Director, Senior Director, VP and C‑suite positions across the organisation. You will work closely with senior leaders, mapping talent markets, engaging passive candidates and ensuring rigorous, scalable processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end leadership searches independently, translating briefs into search plans, target‑company maps and talent pipelines.
• Conduct high‑quality research and direct outreach to identify and engage diverse, senior passive talent in fintech, payments and technology sectors.
• Maintain a responsive candidate experience, providing clear communication, expectation management and personalised care throughout complex processes.
• Own workflow and ATS data hygiene, building frameworks to remove bottlenecks and prevent search drift.
• Partner with hiring managers and senior leaders, delivering concise market intelligence, candidate summaries and written updates to support evidence‑based decisions.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in executive search, leadership search or a comparable high‑growth in‑house sourcing environment.
• Proven track record of mapping complex talent markets, sourcing passive senior talent and delivering searches.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, able to partner with senior leaders and candidates with discretion and clear communication.
• High attention to detail in candidate intelligence, ATS hygiene, process management and documentation.
• Willingness or experience using AI tools and market intelligence to accelerate research, improve data accuracy and increase search velocity.
