Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

FlightStory is seeking a fast‑moving Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead senior and critical searches, build pipelines, and own a portfolio of roles from start to finish. You will use a range of tools, including AI, to source top talent quickly and deliver a candidate experience that reflects the company culture.

Key responsibilities

• Drive senior and critical searches with market maps, target lists and outreach, delivering results within days of kickoff.
• Proactively source and headhunt candidates, leveraging AI to research markets and sharpen outreach.
• Screen candidates against briefs and company values, presenting clear recommendations.
• Own end‑to‑end recruitment for a portfolio of roles, from intake to accepted offer.
• Maintain clear communication with hiring managers, providing timely updates and feedback.
• Ensure rapid candidate communication and uphold a process that mirrors the company culture.
• Keep the applicant tracking system (ATS) clean and accurate for reliable data.

Required profile

• Experience in recruitment or sourcing, either agency or in‑house; agency recruiters transitioning to in‑house are welcome.
• Proven proactive hunter mindset, sourcing candidates rather than waiting for inbound applications.
• Experience or strong interest in media, content, creative roles, or the creator economy.
• Bias for speed – keep processes moving and avoid leaving strong candidates waiting.
• Confident stakeholder management, able to push hiring managers for feedback and decisions.
• Highly organised with strong habits around ATS data and candidate experience.
