Tax Senior – Corporate & Personal Tax Specialist

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious tax professional to join a supportive, close‑knit team of around 36 employees. You will work with a varied client portfolio, gaining exposure to both corporate and personal tax matters while enjoying genuine progression prospects and a healthy work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients.
• Prepare and review corporation tax returns.
• Provide tax compliance and advisory support across a diverse client base.
• Identify tax‑planning opportunities and design tax‑efficient structures.
• Handle HMRC correspondence and enquiries.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Mentor junior team members where appropriate.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to departmental growth.

Required profile

• ATT, ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent experience).
• Previous experience in an accountancy practice environment.
• Strong understanding of UK tax compliance.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Proactive attitude with a genuine desire to learn and develop.
• UK resident with permanent, unrestricted Right to Work.
