Team Leader, Dishpatch

About the role

Dishpatch, a meal-kit delivery service offering chef-prepared dishes delivered to customers' doorsteps, is looking for a proactive and organised Team Leader to join its team at North Greenwich. The role supports the Senior Fulfilment Associate in delivering operational excellence, engaging, motivating and leading the Fulfilment team to meet daily operational requirements. The position is permanent, paid at £16.28 per hour, with night premium of £3.75 per hour for work between 22:00 and 06:00.

Key responsibilities

• Support the daily operations of the fulfilment and production kitchen so that processes run smoothly, efficiently and accurately.
• Support the quality of production and fulfilment, ensuring all food is accurately portioned as per specification.
• Ensure compliance with internal fulfilment processes and company Food Safety policies.
• Act as a point of escalation for the Fulfilment team and communicate with the production and operations team on a daily basis.

Required profile

• Minimum of two years leading teams within food logistics or comparable sectors.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to inspire and guide a workforce.
• Resilience and agility in high-pressure settings, managing diverse responsibilities and competing demands.
• Desirable: Food Safety Level 2 certification, allergen awareness certification and a supervisory management qualification.

Required skills

• Knowledge of inventory management systems and experience with warehouse management software.
• Strong proficiency in text comprehension and numerical logic.

Working conditions

• 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Saturday, with occasional weekend and Bank Holiday work during busy periods.
• Shifts range between 08:00 and 22:00 across seven days.
• Some roles are subject to pre-employment vetting, including DBS checks and financial probity checks where required.
