Technical Analyst - Data, Integration and APIs (Aladdin Wealth)
DXC Luxoft
Job description
About the role
DXC Luxoft is hiring a Technical Analyst for a contract engagement on a client's Aladdin Wealth implementation, working remotely in the United Kingdom. The analyst owns the technical analysis of project data definitions, source-to-target mappings, interfaces, API integrations and data quality controls, turning business requirements into buildable technical specifications and working with developers, integration architects, data engineers and BlackRock technical contacts.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the Aladdin Wealth target architecture: component boundaries, system-of-record considerations, data flows and responsibilities.
- Develop the integration inventory and plan: inbound and outbound interfaces, sequencing, dependencies, release phasing, and event-driven versus batch options.
- Own project data definitions and source-to-target mappings for positions, transactions, security reference data, pricing, benchmarks, classifications, client and account hierarchies, and define historical data migration scope.
- Analyse Aladdin Wealth API and interface documentation: endpoints, payloads, security, versioning, limits, error handling and retry behaviour, and validate assumptions with BlackRock and the solution architect.
- Define data-quality checks, completeness and accuracy rules, and design source-to-platform reconciliation, investigating issues with SQL and payload inspection.
- Coordinate technical test scenarios (integration, end-to-end, volume, regression), support unit testing and UAT defect triage, and produce run-books and handover documentation.
Required profile
- 3+ years in technical or solution analysis on wealth-management, private-banking or asset-management platform implementations.
- Proven hands-on delivery of Aladdin Wealth at scale, including target architecture input, integration planning and source-to-target data mapping; direct implementation experience is the primary selection criterion.
- Experience specifying event-driven and batch integration patterns in a regulated environment.
- Able to work directly with developers and architects and produce precise build-ready specifications.
Required skills
- Hands-on SQL and ability to inspect JSON/XML payloads from API documentation.
- Jira, Confluence, Visio; API testing tools such as Postman; Excel for data analysis.
- Nice to have: BlackRock integration layer design, historical data migration, Python, Snowflake/Kafka, exposure to Avaloq/Temenos/FNZ/SimCorp/Charles River, multi-entity delivery experience.
