Technical & Production CNC Programmer – Window/Door Industry

About the role

This permanent position is based in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire and is ideal for someone with experience or interest in the window and door sector. You will provide technical support to both internal and external customers, helping to develop and optimise CNC programmes and manufacturing information.

Key responsibilities

• Create clear, production‑ready manufacturing information for new product ranges.
• Support programming and optimisation of CNC machinery, ensuring efficient and accurate runs.
• Collaborate with the Business Systems team on testing and implementation of new products and technical changes.
• Manage tooling stock levels, monitoring usage to minimise downtime.
• Work with sales order processing and manufacturing teams to assess product capabilities and communicate any constraints.
• Provide technical guidance to internal departments and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop technical expertise.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.
• Problem‑solving mindset and ability to work within a small, supportive team.

Required skills

• CNC programming (training provided for specific machinery).
