Technical VAT Tax Law Analyst (In‑House)

About the role

We are seeking a Technical VAT Tax Law Analyst to join our in‑house team in London. The role focuses on researching, interpreting and analysing complex VAT and indirect tax legislation to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Research, interpret and analyse complex tax topics, especially VAT and indirect tax matters.
• Screen cases, legislation, regulations and other developments for relevant tax content.
• Mentor and train junior team members by sharing tax knowledge and experience.
• Stay abreast of emerging tax issues and technology and assess their implications for the organisation.

Required profile

• Professional qualification in tax, accountancy or law.
• Proven experience analysing and writing about indirect tax law.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently.
