Tenancy Support Officer – London/Sussex or Kent/Essex

About the role

We are seeking two experienced Tenancy Support Officers – one for the London & Sussex region and one for Kent & Essex – to join our Neighbourhood Services team. You will work directly with vulnerable customers facing complex housing challenges, helping them stay safe, manage tenancy responsibilities, and achieve sustainable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of vulnerable customers, delivering person‑centred support and risk assessments.
• Develop and implement tailored support plans, including for customers temporarily moved from their homes.
• Act as an advocate, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to enable safe returns or longer‑term housing solutions.
• Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns, balancing risk for individuals and the community.
• Lead multi‑agency collaboration with social services, police, and support agencies.
• Maintain accurate records, handle service queries and complaints, and contribute to complex case reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience in housing, tenancy support, or a customer‑facing role.
• Proven ability to support vulnerable customers with complex housing‑related issues.
• Experience working in social housing, statutory agencies, or similar environments.

• Salary £34,418 – £43,022 per annum plus a £2,411 car allowance.
