Trainee Independent Financial Adviser – City of London Firm

About the role

We are partnering with a leading independent financial planning firm in the City of London to recruit Trainee Independent Financial Advisers for their in‑house Adviser Academy. The programme will guide you from a Level 4 qualification towards full IFA status, providing hands‑on client experience and comprehensive training.

Key responsibilities

• Follow a structured development plan and attend expert training sessions.
• Assist senior advisers with client services administration and paraplanning tasks.
• Participate in client meetings to develop practical financial planning skills.
• Support the preparation of financial recommendations and documentation.

Required profile

• Level 4 qualification (or nearing completion) – essential.
• At least 18 months experience in financial services.
• Proven experience in client services administration or paraplanning.
